Use the Flow action block to organize your chatbot flow into smaller flows.
For example, if you have three items in your menu like Explore WotNot / Talk to sales / Support, instead of building all the flows in one tree, you will build three flow with the same names. So that each flow has only its flow in it.
Using the Flow Block
- Creating smaller manageable flows for each path
- Easier navigation between conversational flow
- Easier onboarding of teams to the chatbot

Entering a flow
There are multiple ways you can enter a flow:

- Flow dropdown: Choosing the flow from the dropdown list at the top-left.
- Keyboard Shortcut: Typing Ctrl + F and searching for the flow.
Moving blocks into flows
You can move existing chat flows into a Flow block.
- Hold shift and drag the collection of flows you would like to move into the Flow block.
- Click on the Move icon and choose the destination flow
Flow exit behaviour
When the execution of the workflow inside the Flow block completes, the control returns to the block immediately after the Flow block, allowing the conversation to continue from there.
Output Paths
The output behaviour depends on the configured return behaviour.
- If the sub-flow returns to the parent flow, the conversation continues from the Flow block’s next step.
- If the sub-flow takes over entirely, control remains with the sub-flow and does not return to the parent flow.
Use the return behaviour to determine whether the Flow block acts as a reusable section within a larger conversation or as a handoff to a separate conversational flow Last modified on October 22, 2026
